Frédéric,has a technical background specializing in cereal industry : the french milling school.He worked for over 20 years in various animal feed plants, as quality manager, production and maintenance manager and industrial director.His expertise lies in the technical aspects of feed manufacturing, but he is also the orchestra conductor for our joint projects.He was the project manager for the creation of AQUALIA, and its fish feed manufacturing plant, the most recent in Western Europe (2017).Since 2018, he is the founder of SOLEAD CONSULTING, a company dedicated the animal feed industry with 2 main activities : PROJECT MANAGEMENT and OPTIMZATION

The mission in Rwanda consisted of visiting 2 fish feed factories and carrying out an audit in order to put in place an action plan aimed at optimising the productivity of these factories.

Specialising in animal production, VIV AFRICA is a trade show that brings together supply and demand from the entire animal protein chain under the ‘Feed to Food’ concept.
It provides an opportunity to discover the latest innovations in this field. This year, the show is introducing two new sectors: agriculture and dairy products.

Portugal

The mission in Portugal consisted of carrying out an audit of a factory specialising in poultry in order to identify areas for improving the quality of the various products.

Cameroon

The mission to Cameroon consisted of visiting a potential site for setting up a fish feed manufacturing unit.

The assignment in France consisted of starting the design study for 2 new feed manufacturing plants and auditing them in order to draw up the industrial master plan.

Last week, I took part in a tumultuous workshop with ISARA Conseil: Agriculture - Agri-food and Vegepolis , hosted by the Metropole of Lyon.The aim of the workshop was to help 4 companies (Bio&Lo, Cizeron Bio, Agri Lab Leverage, etc.) think about the strength and sustainability of their business model.
The workshop showed that adaptation and resilience go hand in hand.I was able to work on a concrete example, that of Cizeron Bio, to understand the issue of robustness for food manufacturers..

As part of various projects on the African continent to add value to soya beans, Frédéric MAUNY took part in a workshop organised by Farmet a. s. at its premises in Ceska Skalice.This provided an opportunity to discover innovative methods, and cutting-edge technologies in the Farmet a. s. research and development centre.Through practical demonstrations, it was possible to discover the complex transformation of soya and the optimisation of associated processes, as well as protein concentration.
